Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Follow God's word and love him and others, just like Jesus loved us by sacrificing himself.
Now this doesn't mean you have to die for other people, it just means that you need to love others just like Jesus, not do everything that Jesus did.
